The USD Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate’s Index of Leading Economic Indicators for San Diego County rose 0.6 percent in September. Leading the move to the upside were sharp gains in initial claims for unemployment insurance and the outlook for the national economy.         Relaxed Mortgage Regs Could Free Up Credit

Banking regulators voted Tuesday to relax mortgage rules

Homeownership Still Holds Promise For 90% of Americans

A new survey shows the vast majority of Americans still regard homeownership as a
“highly desirable goal,” despite lingering effects of the housing crisis in the market. The
